As a Chinese with a Chinese stomach, I pay a lot of attention to “eating”. After all, in a cold and bitter place like Northern Europe, it’s boring to death, and enjoying delicious food is one of the few activities that can satisfy myself. I live in Lund, and the following restaurants are all located in the Lund-Malmö urban area. I have been to these restaurants for no less than ten times. There are subjective factors in the evaluation, but I will definitely not change it. I am in Sweden now, can’t I tell the truth?
No.1 Golden Crown, located in Svedala, is a northeastern restaurant. It is definitely the number one Chinese restaurant in Skåne Province. Here you can taste exactly the same as in China (north). Their dishes are very cheap and the portions are large. You will hardly make mistakes. If you miss the taste of China, then you can’t go wrong coming here. The only drawback is that it is in Svedala. For example, I live in Lund and it takes four hours to go back and forth here, and the train ticket is also expensive, more than 80 kr per person, so you still need to be mentally prepared to eat at Golden Crown.

No.2. Meijiang, a Chinese restaurant at the doorstep, is located in Lund. I believe that everyone who has studied at Lund University has eaten Meijiang. So the biggest advantage of Meijiang is that it is in Lund, so there is no worry about no customers. And there is only one Chinese restaurant in the whole city of Lund! The taste of Meijiang is different from the Chinese food in my impression. It is a modified version, but it is not bad and is within the acceptable range (2024/9 update: It is getting worse and worse). But there are two points to complain about their family: the first is that the amount of food is too small. Compared with the Golden Crown, the amount of food is only 1/2 or even 1/3. The second is that the service attitude is getting worse and worse, especially some Chinese waiters in their forties and fifties have the worst attitude towards Chinese students. Spoon? Take it yourself, water? Pour it yourself. Who would have thought that the Swedish guy has the best service attitude in Meijiang, but it is the only Chinese restaurant in the city where you can order dishes. What can you do about it!

No.2 Sichuan, located in Eslöv, my comment is: only the name is Sichuan, it doesn’t look like Sichuan cuisine! As someone who has been in Chengdu University of Electronic Science and Technology for four years, I think I can still comment. Compared with Meijiang, their restaurant is more localized Chinese food. Here I only recommend spicy dishes, or Sichuan cuisine in the name. Don’t order other dishes such as pork with preserved vegetables, fried shrimp and fried chicken fillet, which are the same as those sold in Willys. One thing I can also mention about their restaurant is that the buffet is not bad, I personally like it! Because their buffet also has two Chinese dishes, and the sushi is much better than that of Rose Garden. The quality of the buffet and the single-serve dishes is similar.

But sometimes he is too enthusiastic and keeps chatting with you when you eat, but I just want to chat with my friends.
No.2 Malmö Sichuan Private Cuisine, a Sichuan restaurant located in Malmö. I feel that this restaurant is closer to the taste of Sichuan cuisine than Eslöv, but I have to mention that their non-Sichuan cuisine is too bad! That Kung Pao Chicken, just change it to Sauce Fried Chicken! Pot-wrapped Fish? It’s so sweet! Sichuan cuisine is still very delicious. Their fish is better than the dry-fried fish in Meijiang, so it is recommended to order only Sichuan cuisine

No.3 Rose Garden, an Asian buffet restaurant located in the center of Lund, has completely localized dishes, a good environment, and is not expensive. It has become a canteen for Swedish workers. You can see people from many industries coming to eat lunch every day at noon. It’s really good. There are also many cokes and ice creams that are not available in buffets! But I’ve eaten too many times and I’m about to vomit…
